Oh Good God!!

Radical. That's how I see religion. It's not traditional to claim something invisible to be something obvious. It never could have been. Religion has crept in through the ranks of society through the ages and in my opinion it is here to stay. Why?? A few things pop up in my mind as an answer to why god is good for man.
  • Radical :
You and I like radical thoughts. Religion started out as being radical. Don't you think claiming God would have been a radical thought? So, radical is how it started. And it's like a cycle, now everything claimed about God will have to be radical.
  • The thing to thank :
When things go wrong, when things go right; when things become dismal, when everything is bright, we like to thank or blame or plead or praise someone. And for most humans, that someone is better off being an abstract thought. Having to emote with real humans causes too many real world problems. Not everyone knows whom to thank. Not everyone likes to be blamed. Not everyone handles praise too well. And not everyone is humble enough to plead. So, the best person to handle everything is GOD. That's pretty much the concept as far as I've seen.
  • Afterlife - God's cloak of invisibility :
Haha. This one is the classic reason why God will remain. Nobody returns from death. And we like to know what happens after. Do we emote, do we breathe, do we exist after death? Religion tries to answer it, rather arbitrarily I'd say. How on "earth" would they know?! :D But seriously, this is purely comical. Working in life for life after life? I'd rather live this life and work later in the steamy ovens of Hell! India is steamy as Hell anyway!! :D :D
  • I'm a bird-brain!!
So, this is self explanatory. People who are too lazy to think are easily convinced. That's a reason why God will exist. That's a reason why God is needed for a few men. It's a product that people are ready to buy. It's a flourishing business that will always have a market.

So, evidently, God is a necessity for man. Not because God wanted it to be so. But because man wants it to be so. Selfish. But seriously, why not?

While talking about GOD, People say God is Love, and GOD created all of us, still don't want to put them together to love God's creations.
